No, it’s not the one we recognise in the City Centre today. Old Sarum is the ruins of an Iron Age fort and castle – one of the oldest in recorded UK history. With views across the countryside and lots of space to roam, it’s a popular site for ramblers and families.

The Medieval city of Salisbury is home to Salisbury Cathedral and also our little pizza shop on the market square. The 13th century cathedral sits amongst 80 acres of stunning grounds and has one of Europe’s tallest spires. The surrounding gardens are a nice place to sit and relax too.
You can’t miss it – it’s just down the road. The more humble and less famous sidekick, Woodhenge, which we rather like, is just next door, and there aren’t any queues for this one either.
